Forged san-mai construction with 1.2562 core steel at ~64 hrc.
Full convex grind, last bits handmade on Waterstones. I tried for a contrasting finish with rough sides and a polished core.
Knife gets thinner as the taper gets thinner, nail flexing at the edge.
Roasted apple wood handle.
220 mm from the heel to tip of blade.
355 mm oal.
51 mm height at heel.
3.5 mm spine at heel, forged taper.
Weights in at 184g.
This is a light and nimble blade, excellent cutting performance.
